     A new feature of the 2008 Boat Show Bash was an On-Line to Live Auction featuring a small number of very special items sure to entice sailors, powerboaters, and landlubbers alike! The On-line portion of the Auction opened at 9 AM on September 12th and closed at 5 PM on Saturday, October 11th. During this time anyone could bid as often as wished.

     Bidders could also elect to submit a separate “Sealed Highest Offer” (receipt acknowledged by email) that was not opened until 6 PM on Saturday, October 11th by their very own Proxy Bidder.

     At 5 PM on Saturday, October 11th the high On-line bids were “locked” and transferred to Silent Auction sheets at EYC’s Boat Show Bash. The Silent Auction opened at 6 PM and closed at 9 PM. Starting at 9 PM, one by one each Auction item proceed to a Live Auction conducted by EYC’s and Campbell Auction’s own Jane Campbell-Chambliss. Our Proxy Bidders represented any competitive “Sealed Highest Offer” during both the Silent and Live bid process. Auction winners were also announced at the Bash.

NOTE: The submission of a bid requires registration and constitutes a contract to purchase the item at the bid price should that bid be the ultimate high bid on Saturday, October 11th.
